We hope that after the September Meeting our members get excited about MEZCAL and be able to take MASTER MEZCALIER Classes in October
Master Mezcalier certification class #1 on Monday Oct. 8th at the Mexican Consulate. For more information, go to: http://www.MasterMEzcalier.com.
A while ago we promoted the first class ever held in NYC, only those who have passed the phase #1 test can go to next phase: Mixology, Master Mezcalier certification class #2, it will most likely be on Oct. 9th with a location TBD. Probably, it will be lead by a USBGNY member.
If this dates are not compatible with your calendar both classes are going to be held during the Boston Cocktail Summit (on Oct. 5th and 6th). Just a heads up, phase 3 and 4 are to be held in Oaxaca, Mexico. And the organization is trying to be done in one trip only. Very exciting!
The USBGNY, in partnership with PAMA Pomegranate Liqueur, wants to continue the Olympic Games with the first-ever PAMAlympics, which launches this coming Monday. The Gold medal winner will receive $5,000, while the Silver and Bronze will receive $2,000 and $1,000, respectively. Let the Games begin!Start thinking about thinking about this, there will be a tight deadline and submission period and for 5k, it’s going to be very, VERY competitive. Rules and Submission forms released on MONDAY!!!!
Drink and serve responsibly! (this can mean whatever you want it to mean)
